From Amarillo By Morning to Amazing Grace After having recorded seven
other gospel recordings, I began to sing in the prisons of this land. As I sang
in the prisons with Bill Glass Ministries, God began to give me back my country
music because I was now using it for Him and His Glory. I was singing
"Amarillo by Morning" on a prison yard so that the prisoners would
come out of their living quarters and come hear some country music and then get
the rest of the story. God not only gave me back my country music, but He also
gave me back my cowboy hat. God then began to speak to my heart to do a
recording that would reach the unchurched country music fan. I wrote new
words to "Amarillo by Morning" and got permission to record it. So sit

Thanks Thank you Lord for not just taking me on a musical ride from Amarillo by Morning to Amazing Grace but on a life-changing spiritual ride. Thank you for changing my heart, my life, my tune and my dreams, and giving me faith to wait on You and Your will for every area of my life. Thank you that I am now doing what I was created to do; it just took 22 years of country music to get me there. Thank you that I have peace concerning my past , power for today and provision for my future. Thank you for all of my fans in country music that followed me, bought my records and supported my career, for without them this recording would not even exist. Thank you for all of the radio disc jockeys that played my records, little did they know that God would be able to use it all for his Glory one day. And Lord, please let everyone that reads and listens to this recording experience your love and mighty presence, not just on this recording, but in their own hearts and lives. Special Message From Clifton If you prayed the prayer of commitment on this recording with me and by faith asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart, forgive your sin and be your Lord and Savior; God has done what you've asked Him to do and you are a new person. For the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:13, '' therefore, if anyone be in Christ, he or she is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things have become new". In God's eyes your yesterdays are forgiven and forgotten, and your new life is Him has just begun. Jesus wants you to know for sure that He has come into your heart to give you power to live each day and the hope of Heaven when you die. For the Bible says in 1 John 5: 13 "These things I have written unto you who believe in the name of the son Of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life." Record the date of your decision below and share with others about your new life in Christ. Jesus wants you to live an abundant life realizing that the abundance of stuff or the absence of trials, but it is the abundant presence of Jesus Christ in your heart and life empowering you to by faith walk in victory no matter what the circumstance. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and so I want to encourage you to read God's Word staring with the Gospel of John and then the book of Romans. Start and end each day talking to Jesus that's prayer, and start attending a Bible believing church so that you will be encouraged and strengthened in your walk with the Lord.
