I Choose Jesus

(February, 1991)

In February, 1991 the Lord began to birth in my heart a new tape. I was calling a photographer to tell him that we needed a new picture, and while we were talking the Lord spoke to my heart as if to say,"I don't need your picture on this one."
At this time the witnessing bracelets were very popular and so we put the colors of the bracelets and "I Choose Jesus " in blood red on the front of the cassette. I still felt the Lord leading us to just record with me and Jesus and my twelve string Takamine guitar. Once again, I prayed,"Lord Annoint it, or stop it," and after recording all of the songs the Lord brought my prayer back to mind and I vowed to throw it in the trash can if His presence and power was not on the tape. The next day I re-sang nine of the twelve songs and His Spirit fell on the studio and we all weeped in His presence. May God touch your heart through this very simple but powerful recording.
